武夷山大紅袍之名，相傳明朝洪武十八年，舉子丁顯上京赴考，路過武夷山時突然得病，腹痛難忍，巧遇天心永樂禪寺一和尚，和尚取其所藏茶葉泡與他喝，病痛即止。考中狀元之後，前來致謝和尚，問及茶葉出處，得知後脫下大紅袍繞茶叢三圈，將其披在茶樹上，故得「大紅袍」之名。狀元用錫罐裝取大紅袍帶回京城。本堂的入門級大紅袍非常適合日常飲用，氣味香濃而味道醇厚，泡多次而味道依然。大紅袍屬於烏龍茶，有著特別的焙香味道，性味微溫，除了一般人士，虛寒人士也適合飲用，而且可以提神醒腦、去膩消食、利尿祛濕、輕身、抗氧化等功效，因此非常適合在工作環境、用膳之後享用，是居家、工作必備之熱門茶選；也是一般勞累的城市人保健養生、學生讀書提神必備的好茶。
 
The name of Wuyi Mountain Da Hong Pao Tea comes from legend. In the 18th year of Hongwu in the Ming Dynasty (1385), a candidate named Ding Xian went to Beijing for an imperial examination. When he passed by Wuyi Mountain, he suddenly fell ill and had unbearable abdominal pain. He happened to meet a monk from Tianxin Yongle Temple, who took out his collection of tea and made it for him to drink, and the pain stopped. After passing the imperial examination and becoming the top scholar, he came to thank the monk and asked about the origin of the tea. After learning the truth, he took off his Da (Big) Hong (Red) Pao (Robe) , walked around the tea bushes three times and then draped it on the tea tree, hence the name "Da Hong Pao". The number one scholar took the Da Hong Pao Tea in a tin can and brought it back to the capital. Our entry-level Da Hong Pao Tea is very suitable for daily drinking.
